My Wish List.

1) Going past the mystical curtain prior to which we believe there is no such thing, I believe there is such a thing. If it is truly intended for us to have a match in this world, I believe that in every instant, there is a soul in the world that wholly relates to our own. I seek that soul with faith.

2)Although I have attempted to pursue this in the past, I hope I am deeply inspired to go forth with it soon time.

3) Tears begin to flow off my eyes uncontrollably every time I touch on this subject. It is without a doubt one of my greatest wishes to have a stronger connection to the holy book.

4)One of the holiest cities that project Allah (SWT)'s countless reminders and mercies. I'm always fascinated about people's Hajj stories upon return, I hope one day I can be on the other side and share my wonderful stories.

I believe these are all Divine tasks that need to be fulfilled in this world. It grants us wholeness and nourishes our link to Allah (SWT). I have made intentions, and now I blow a wish into the wide abyss of the Universe....

salaam love,

Great wish list, I wish to achieve the last two inshAllah! Not interested in the first two (personally do not find niqab practical or necessary in North America ... maybe in a "Muslim" country I would feel more comfortable without being discriminated against.)

I hope you accomplish them all inshAllah. Btw, I love love love your new blog layout!

p.s. come back on facebook pls ... i miss you :'(

awww Organic Muslimah... may Allah (SWT) help you with #1. .. :)

@2 - mA, i also want to but i feel like i have to first rid myself of certain habits that do not befit a niqabi
I remember a quote made by a niqabi sis who passed away (may Allah have mercy on her soul) about what drove her to wear it.. she said, “Every time I saw a niqaabi I was jealous. I would stare at each and every one of them thinking, why can’t I please Allah (God) the way she pleases Allah?” :(

@3 - you should give Alhuda a try.. iA i'll try to show you a sample of what we actually do.. i don't think i've explained it well to you, lol

@4 - iA one day.. i think it will be easy once you fulfill #1.. you can even make that as your mahr. :)
